City Groups are intentional gatherings throughout the city, made up of people who are seeking to mature in Christ, with others.
City Groups build connection and community
What sets a City Group at Restoration apart from other groups in our city? Our heart is that, as these groups meet regularly and people are being discipled through a focus on the gospel and on Jesus. As we follow Jesus in community, the Holy Spirit transforms us.
City Groups are relational
We are being transformed to view relationships as a gift to value, develop and nurture, not a convenience to be gained. Relationships are an investment in God's kingdom work.
City Groups are missional
The gospel frees us to have eyes that see beyond our own life and our own walls to the lives and needs of those around us. Looking outward to the needs of the church and the city is part of transformational growth as we seek to share the love of Christ.
City Groups are devotional
Having City Group gatherings rooted in prayer and time in God's word opens the door for discussion, questions, and vulnerability. God often uses relationships to challenge and encourage us in the understanding and application of the truth of the gospel.
